Single classroom roster

Invitations & enrollment
Invite students by email or share a join link. Enroll them in courses you build or remix from the library.
And why that's OK
The K-12 Program covers everything you need for classroom teaching. A few paid-tier features are intentionally not part of it — here's the reasoning.
No monetization
The K-12 Program is non-commercial. You can't sell lessons or run paid courses on it. If you want to do that, Pro is the right plan.
No document or video ingestion
PDF, Word, and YouTube ingestion are paid-tier features (they're expensive to run). You can still generate any lesson by describing the topic — perfect for classroom use.
No multi-teacher workspace
No shared workspace, no co-author roles, no SSO, no bulk roster import. Those are Enterprise features for schools and districts.
One classroom only
One roster, up to 150 students. If you need to manage multiple sections separately or scale beyond that, Enterprise is the next step.
Two ways to prove you teach
We use a simple two-signal rule. Submit one of the following with your application and we'll review within 2 business days.
Option 1 — School email
Apply with a school-issued email address (typically .edu, .k12.<state>.us, or your district's domain). That's it — no document needed.
Option 2 — School document
Don't have a school email? Send one of the following:
- ✓ School photo ID badge
- ✓ Pay stub from your school or district
- ✓ Employment verification letter
- ✓ Faculty / staff directory page listing you
- ✓ Current teaching certificate
Manual review
Every application is reviewed by a real person. We aim to email you a decision within 2 business days. If we need more information, we'll let you know what's missing — no silent rejections.
